Through out the book, your thinking that Dooley must have the worst luck out of anyone. He always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. From the start, i always had a feeling dooley had nothing to do with anything he was accused of. it didn't give you an idea who it was until the end of the book which is good because it kept me reading. It came a surprise to me who was the person killing those people, it was a person who i thought wouldn't' be able to do murder. they made him out to be the nicest guy in the book, but it turns out the mislead the truth the whole time.when dooley found out who the culprit was for all this, the police began to believe him.if the come out with a second book, i would read it and i would recommend people read this book.

Ryan Dooley, now fed up with dealing with the police, is trying to piece together what happened the night Mark Everly went over the bridge. He goes around trying to figure out where Marks red backpack went and who and how he had been killed. He was at work, and some homeless guy showed up with marks backpack. Dooley got the backpack so there is some positives. he also found that Winston Rhodes is being very friendly too him out of nowhere so this makes him suspicious. why would Rhodes all of a sudden want to be friends with Dooley? He was hiding something. as it turns out, mark had a relationship with Rhodes maid, Ezperenta. Rhodes didn't like that, so he got him really drunk and pushed him over. He also killed Gillette(Dooleys old friend) and tried to frame Dooley for it. They ended up arresting whinston for the murders of Mark,Gillette, and another one of Dooley's friends, Landers. What would you do if someone pretended to be your friend to frame you for violent crimes?
